but its forward PE is possibly as high as 30. That is a big PE for a company whose earnings are likely to suffer seriously in an environment of reduced air travel.

In arriving at the 30 p/e number, did you input a specific number of reduced business given the current scare of air travel? Personally I do not know.

If the entire air travel business will be forever hindered, then not only this company will be affected in its future, but many will as it would seem to me that unless an alternative to what business travel accomplishes is found there will be a lot of damage ... (and I am not saying that it is not possible, I just think that things may return to normal.

Do you think the chance of extra business in the area of cockpit security will outweigh the decline in its more general aircraft interior business? I don't.

Not sure... I was merely answering a question from another poster about that press release. I just noted the p/e ratio. From a different perspective, perhaps the current "scare" given security needs may push the stock. I repeat "MAY", but not sure myself.

It seems that things will depend on how much damage this current scare will effectively have in the long term.

The main reason why I noted the p/e was because at least this company does make money... as opposed to other beneficiaries of these terror rally participants that make none and their benefit of "extra business" due to this attacks are as questionable as BEAV's
