It is true, "like" and "agree" are not necessarily conjoined. I thought in this case, however, that you would find the formulation "agreeable"..... I am not sure what you are asking in the second question. If you are objecting to my use of the word "belief", I use it to emphasize my own disposition in the matter... Well, it takes a commonsense point of view, for example, that there is an external world....... I extrapolate from prior conversations. I am not merely guessing, but I do leave open the possibility that more points of agreement could be found.......
