Maybe you and I should combine My cheesy questions with your whiney answers and have a party. You can't discuss, and not discuss the biblical position on homosexuality at the same time. which would you like to do? I don't know enough about your theological views to be able to determine what you do, or do not, believe, I find your statements on the matter to be confusing and contradictory. I would love to have an open and fair discussion with you on the matter, but you seem to be satisfied with occasional sniper fire. By stating publicly "that your Christianity is nothing like mine." you, not I, fired the first volley.

"I have never stated that your brand of Christianity is wrong"

Are you now saying that it is right? Clearly if not explicitly you have insinuated that it is, but then refused to discuss it. From a biblical perspective, which part of my beliefs are extreme and why. I don't see myself as an extremist, and neither do most of my acquaintances, present company excluded apparently. Do I have firmly held beliefs? Yes. Do I force them on others? No. I think I made some general comments about Liberal Christianity in general that you perhaps construed as being personally directed at you. I can't recall having a discussion with you directly about the matter but apparently it's OK for you to classify my beliefs as dangerous, while not revealing your own. I am quite willing to leave the matter alone with regards to you personally, but I am here to exchange ideas, and engage in debate. I assumed that is why you were here also. If my ideas about who Christ is, and what he did, are wrong, then shouldn't I, at least be entitled to know how and why? Are you willing to just leave me here in my ignorance? If you were wrong, would you want to know?

Have a good day Poet, I will probably be in and out for most of the day, and then we are having friends over for a bible study later. We are using a study by R.C. Sproul on the Holiness of God. Are you familiar with it?

Here's a suggestion: If you have a question for me, approach me directly. Addressing my husband in this way is cheesy.

I probably should stay out of these things, esp. when I have no beef with either side of the discussion, but Greg responded to you husband about you because your husband replied to his post talking about you. I don't think your husband did anything wrong in any way by defending you, but in doing so he raised points that Greg probably felt needed to be responded to. It still may have been more appropriate to just respond to your husband saying something like "I will have to ask her why she...", rather then "why does she...", but I'm not sure I would call Greg's question cheesey in its context.

Tim

"If you have a question for me, approach me directly."

<<<Poet believes in the existence of sin, of moral wrong and outrage, let me tell you.>>>

Here is a direct question for you; You believe sin exists, can you give a definition of it?

Hold the cheese <)
