WILD trading today. It would be interesting to know who the players were today, however I cannot get to that data.

It was almost like a boxing match, with buyers and sellers trading blows back and forth.

The really interesting thing, though, is the motive behind the buyers. I cannot imagine that anyone would seriously attempt a "pump and dump" scheme at this point, given the tenuous investing environment in the world today, and especially given the state of the precious metals industry! Such a thing would prove detrimental, if not fatal, to the long-term status of this stock.

Is info leaking out about Turquoise Hill and the other prospects? Ivanhoe said that updated drill results would be published shortly. It is hard to imagine that Friedland would spend precious cash for those new properties if they felt it was a wild gamble on the potential.

It should be an interesting next four weeks . . . . .
