Hope you are correct. However, with UMTS proceeding apace (albeit slooowly) and UMTS infra contracts being let daily, all the evidence suggests that the GSM Cabal has succeeded in selling the GPRS/EDGE/UMTS 3G migration to all of its members. Unfortunately, I have not yet seen a single TDMA carrier adopt CDMA 2000 as its 3G technology. These facts are brutal. I don't like them any more than you do. The solace is that Q will get lots of royalties and will be the premier purveyor of all-flavored ASICs.
