Since ground zero there have been many postings here, articles in newspapers and broadcast all over tv talking about the link between CIA, ISI and OBL. I have no personal knowledge of these links but when so many detailed stories appear linking the three I tend to believe that there may be some truth to it. Of course it may also be a conspiracy. So I should go back and look at all the sources to see if they are connected.

Actually, they seem to shrink with each passing day, as the Afghan station chief you mention begins his denials, etc.

It's not a question easily answered & probably w. have to wait for credible researchers, if any, and if they don't get heart attacks first.

The intel groups, like the rest of gov't, have a credibility problem that won't be solved by self-important denials. Only performance, and transparency will work. Neither is very likely at this point.
