As with most human things, sexuality is regulated by culture, rather than instinct. We do not have mating seasons, we are not bound to be either bonded like doves or randy as goats, we construct elaborate ceremonies and make a great deal out of matters like natural and adoptive parents, and so forth. Sex is infused with meanings that link it to other important aspects of culture, like our self- understanding as a people, the organizational principles of our society, and our religion.

"Hint: it has to be something measurable."

LOL. Here's one for you: Can the requirement that answers must be measurable, in order to have meaning, be measurably demonstrated?

Have you asked a meaningless question?
