I thought it was relevant as well as interesting. It reports on ways in which the media is attempting to support the U.S. efforts despite being free to do otherwise. This sort of cooperation was notably absent in previous U.S. conflicts, which were ultimately undermined by public opinion shaped in large part by media outlets unsympathetic to U.S. foreign policy goals.

That article could lead one to conclude that the U.S.'s present foreign policy goals are more likely to be attained because of the extremely cooperative posture of the media and the overwhelming support of the public.
