Are they the MOST advanced, or among the most advanced Once in a while the government fails to inform me what it's MOST ADVANCED weapon is. The stinger is still one of the most advanced weapons otherwise every little country with enough air above it to fit a helocopter would be building them. They can't. we sold them to help bin Laden build strength to beat us. We sold - err we gave them away - because Reagan was obsessed with the Soviet Union and didn't realize that it would collapse anyway whether Bin Laden had stingers or not. After Andropoff dropped off, the Soviets entered a new era in which the old communist ways could not last. TP
