Maybe the point that Neo was trying to make (or one that could be made if he wasn't specifically trying to make it) is that while sex can be animalistic, it also can have more complex effects on us then mere pleasure or the forfilling of a physical drive or desire. I suppose however that this argument could bring up the response that while it can have such effects, it doesn't have to, and why would sex that is merely a consensual seeking of pleasure or a way to sate a physical drive wrong. A response to that might be that 1 - Sex that is merely physical for one person might not be for his or her partner, and 2 - Sex can result in babies, and human babies are even more dependent then animal babies, and the baby will obviously complicate peoples lives if it is allowed to live, and if it is not allowed to live that raises other ethical considerations.

Have I argued with myself enough yet? <G>
