I was product of a mixed marriage. Came out of college buying the liberal line. Worked on a lot of civil rights stuff in Texas. Was very excited for the great society program of LBJ. Turned conservative when I saw what a rip-off the great society really was.

Josh,

When I was growing up with a divorce mother, almost every one was a Democrat because of WW2. They thought FDR hung the moon. It took quite awhile before the truth of some of his chicanery became public.
