as I noticed earlier the thread is becoming a Rah Rah, Pom Pom platoon. Your characterization, but most Americans today find it outrageous that while still in mourning over thousands mass murdered so many fingers would be pointed at the U.S., instead of at those individuals, organizations and nations that condone murder of innocent people as a political tool. I believe that as the attacks on America progress, an American fury will come about that has not been seen since December 7, 1941. When that happens, those who have sympathized with mass murder will pay a heavy price in social isolation.

LOLOLOL I was unpacking the cute and cuddly Dumbo for my kids and snuck in to read this thread....you gotta admit, the thread is pretty addictive ! Thanx. But I AM standing by my opinion. I hate chest thumping and bragging about the validity of my opinion and I also happen to believe my opinion is not the only one that matters, and I acknowledge the right of others to their opinion. Sometimes, outsiders, people who are less emotional and passionate about certain things, can see things more clearly, SO I STAND BY MY OPINION <g> Still believe that G should have shown more diplomacy and that US needs to either throw out Saudi completely or accept them as they are. This duplicity and bitching about each other, this aint doing anyone any good.... And as far as my opinion of Saudi, and Pakistan is concerned....ahhhhh...I best not go there ! <g>

Oh give us a break Condor... When I put my opinions out here, I fully understand that I will have various people take issue with them... And I don't consider it getting a "beating" when that happens, but an opportunity to either defend my thought process, or revise it. I would hope that others are mature enough to do the same. One thing is clear from following the discussion on the thread.. Words mean something here, so know what you believe, and be willing to stand by your logic. This is one of the best discussion threads I'm followed in several years. Lots of great minds out here sharing perspectives, ideas, and feelings. Hawk
