Ok flap, here ya go. Politically I agree with both jlallen and Thomas A. Watson for the most part. I actually like their points of view, and think they can be defended with logic and reason. TAW can be pretty mean with his come-back posts, but if I agree with his premise I will let him slug it out with the one he is engaged. I think if the point is to try to get someone to "see it his way" so to speak that the nature of his responses can get in the way. That said, I realize I have the same problem. I sometimes have to fight myself not to be mean to try to make my point more effetively, and other times I will pile on the "meanness" if the nature of the post deserves it (imo). To be honest, there are so many sarcastic one liners between jlallen and the guys he posts to that it is hard for me to fault him. It helps that he is conservative and shares many of my views.

The reason I asked you with assena and TP is that their views seems so offensive that I would think even someone very liberal would be offended. TP's position on abortion is so vile that I cannot even fathom a human sharing his view. I have a little baby on the way (about 4 weeks away) and I see how he moves and how he responds to our voices and touch, and even when I mentally put that child in someone else's womb I cannot see how someone could so casually kill it (or have it killed) and think they did good. His comments on wishing Limbaugh had died from lung cancer illustrate that it is not just kids he feels that way about. How much further in that direction does one need to go before they can justify the actions of 9-11-01? I don't know that answer, but it seems it could not be too far. Assena is a babling idiot imo and acts like a child. I cannot come up with any justification for all the quotes from Hitler and Stalin other than he must admire these people. When combined with his HATRED of our president and the vile things he says against our nation while we are at war I can't see how others will defend him (or agree with him). I think there is a pretty good chance that he is a traitor, or more likely is from another country, which would make him an enemy and not a traitor. He clearly seems to hate America, and that is one of the things that bothers me most. I believe we are a great nation, and we should appreciate what the U.S.A. offers. He wants to trash that feeling, and I think it's despicable.

There ya have it.
