Hey, my house is full of greyish or whitish powdery substances, too: scouring powder, soap powder, talcum powder, baking soda, laundry detergent, flea powder, flour, sugar, salt, yeast, vanilla flavored Slim Fast, Bisquick, pancake mix, and in the garage, bone meal, powdered lime, and cleaning powder. That's just what I remember, there's probably more. This reminds me of what happened after the famous Orson Wells broadcast of "The War of the Worlds" on the radio in 1938. Mass "sightings" of Martians, all over the country.
