It's kind of silly to call it the second day of fighting ... they fight every day. That article doesn't give enough details about the reasons for the escalation. There may have been more terrorists trying to get into India or the Indian Army may be trying to shut down terrorist traning camps. There's stuff happening in the background that nobody is talking about ... like India trying to shut down the Pakistan supported terrorist training camps ... it's a job that has to be done but nobody wants to talk about it since Pakistan is supposed to be a US ally in the war on terrorism.
