Hi Condor; The only part of that article I found that was so unbelievable was this paragraph:

US criticism
After Palestinians blamed Israel for the death of another militant in an explosion on Monday, the United States repeated its opposition to "targeted killings".

We should be giving the Israelis medals for this.

By the way, I wouldn't be surprised if Arafat ends up in a situation similar to Pakistan's Musharraf, where he has to give the targets for his terrorist allies to their enemies.

Why disbelief? Sharon said that there would be a Palestinian state eventually back in August. I don't think he intends to give it to Yasser Arafat if he can help it, though.
