I bet there have been a good number of people buying amcc expecting a blow out since the ceo has been buying stock. However, they are likely going to be disappointed, but then again, they haven't researched amcc well if they are expecting that.

I doubt anyone is expecting a blow out. A quick look at what their customers are saying makes that clear. IMHO if you are waiting for an attractive P/S number you'll never buy back in. The stock will move up long before sales are booming. Looks to me that just a hint of an upturn in business will send the stock up. My strategy at this point is to make a best guess as to when the tech bear is done and buy a select group of the best techs at low prices. AMCC and many other stocks have already more than doubled off their bottoms. IMHO unless there's a major new terrorist attack, we've seen the lows on AMCC and the Nasdaq.

<anyone who has anything negative to say about valuation has to be short>

Well the valuation worries me a little to at this point and its easy to guess I'm not short. Business will have to turn up before I'm comfortable over $12.
