Thanks, sbaker! Very exciting news. Just looking at the crystal (http://www.tdii.com/ganbulk.htm) it looks like a solution/precipitation growth method like quartz as opposed to Czochralski or flame fusion methods.

I couldn't find any pricing on synthetic quartz with a quick web search. It ain't a quick growth method so I assume it's pricey...
