LOL! No, it was a misdemeanor. My driving record was essentially spotless, I was trying to keep it that way. So a friend referred me to this guy, who got him out of a similar ticket. But the circumstances were different, so it didn't do me any good as far as I can tell. But 80 in a 55? How's he going to get you out of that?

Never mind, you're a Texan. You people have your own ways of doing things. In my new job, I work with Texans on a daily basis, and I know they deal with things on a case-by-case basis. So, pardon the intrusion. I'll just leave that among you Texans.
