If you seek truth with all your heart, then read the eyewitness historical records in the NT and the Holy Spirit will confirm the historical record from within. In the end, faith is always a gift of God. Many assume that faith comes without solid historial facts. This is false. Jesus is the Messiah! Honestly, do you harbor ill will to those of other faiths? Do you think less of Muslims, Jews, Buddists? Atheists? Should only Christians live in the land known as Israel? Are Christian leaders that profess support and love for leaders and followers of other faiths lying or putting on a good show for the masses? I'd appreciate an honest answer. I'm still constructing my answer to your last post to me.

Gospels "Historical documents by eyewitnesses." Study the dates they were written. Between thirty and seventy years after the story could have happened if it ever did. And what was the life expectancy at that time ? 40 years ? Now I see the Gospels written by believers, people like you, not historians, we have read your posts. How much credibility are we supposed to credit you with, or the Gospels ? Well, I do seek the truth, but not with my hart, rather with historians, read emotionally independent ones. "In the end faith is always a gift of God." For you, as you seem to need one, which is fine with me, but admit that messiahs are easy to find for those in the need ; not to mention gurus, priests of all kinds by the millions making a decent living out of their trade. That latter being what bothers me, no matter what beliefs or faith they are advertising. I do not mind you being antisemitic. With the strong faith you have, it is quite normal, but face this : there are more priests on this planet than Jews ! And what you do not like about the Jews is that they claim with some historic veracity and writings that they were the first ones to acknowledge your own god. Thus you kind of owe them the foundation of you faith, and the more you believe the more it hurts. But now we have entered the real era of the Mullah, the Scholars (as they like to call themselves), and their export, by all means of modern transportation of the sword of god. What a great start for the new century with an ancient myth ?
