Latest news reports advise that a cell of 4 terrorists has been operating
in Newfoundland, Canada. Police advised earlier today that 3 of the 4
have been detained.
The RCMP stated that the terrorists Bin Sleepin, Bin Drinkin and Bin
Fightin have been arrested on immigration issues. The Police advise
further that they can find no one fitting the description of the fourth
cell
member, Bin Workin, in the province.
Police are confident that anyone who appears to be Workin will be very easy
to spot in the community.

KING'S RANSOM -- How vulnerable are the Saudi royals?
by SEYMOUR M. HERSH

Link posted on the FADG thread
newyorker.com

There's a lot of interesting points in the article about corruption and such, but I wonder if the following has special meaning, given the message that was attached to the 10M$ cheque presented to Giuliani by Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, which as we know was later rejected:

Abdullah is viewed by Sultan and other opponents as a leader who could jeopardize the kingdom's most special foreign relationship—someone who is willing to penalize the United States, and its oil and gas companies, because of Washington's support for Israel. In an intercept dated July 13, 1997, Prince Sultan called Bandar in Washington, and informed him that he had told Abdullah "not to be so confrontational with the United States."

Maybe Abdullah losing his grip, and Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal is the public messenger?

"Iraq has several times sent troops to fight Israel when Israel had never sent one bullet or soldier onto Iraqi soil, nor did it announce plans to do so. Iraq has announced plans to attack Israel every days for decades."

Why?
