I've read a great deal by, and about, Paul. I have no interest in his words, nor him, beyond understanding what a perversion he made of the words of the one who mattered. How about you read "James, the Just". <g> I am not a Paulist, and I am not interested in any interpretation, nor law, set down by him. James, the brother of Jesus, called him a liar. And I agree. But if you like him, that's your business. I won't argue it with you. And I only discuss it with people interested in learning and growing, not those who are interested in converting or convincing. We each come to our understanding through our own minds and hearts. The unquestioned belief in a human that they are "right" when they profess a giving of power to a higher being makes me wonder. Selflessness, piety, and meekness. I don't see meekness in one who proclaims they are right about something far from their full knowledge. And now... I am not really off to sleep, but I am off to read. G'night, gao.
