One important quality I picked up this year, ... being able to wait for the right moment. Looking back this year, there were at least 3 times that great oppotunity came along which gave me "firm confidence" I'm definitely not a micro person but a macro minded dude. So forget day trading or even week trading. Feel about 4 times a year trading would be ideal. Holding period shouldn't be matter that much, few days to few months... 1. Try to limit 4 trades per year (round trip) 2. Each trade to gain of 25% to 100% (100 to 200% yearly return) 3. Learn to wait,... no need to look at the chart everyday, you must wait, wait, wait for the right time...
