There is a time for targets.. trading range markets.. Whenever stocks trend strongly, it is usually due to strong sentiment/greed/fear, in which case resistance and support tend to put up less of a battle.. Keeping an eye on a weekly chart of Nasdaq puts things in perspective for those eager to short.. From 5000 down to 1300.. a bounce to 1800/2000 is not uncalled for, regardless of the speed.

I think a trader that always gets stopped out of trades rather than selling of his/her free will is very likely a profitable trader.
