OCT 17 INDEX UPDATE ------------------------------ With the futures up huge, it appears that I could get the NEGATED SIGNAL, but as mentioned yesterday the NAZ/NDX has to also close at/near todays highs. As mentioned often, if I do get a NEGATED SIGNAL my short-term technicals will be useless, and a very strong rally could follow. In that senerio with my short-term technicals useless, I will be using other analysis to determine the short-term top. I have a 21-DAY CYCLE TURN DATE coming on OCT 22(+/- 1 DAY), which I originally thought was going to be a cycle bottom, but now looks like a cycle top.
