Rich it is this type of statement that often makes the left wing in this country look like bloody idiots that haven't a clue. Are you comparing 2 to 5 % less in wages to the regular beating of women for the following reasons 1)their shoes making to much noise while walking in the street. 2) for not being accompanied by a male relative 3) for not being covered head to foot which which often causes them to be hit by cars because they can't properly see. 4) for attempting to buy groceries. 5) When a man dies the woman cannot get a job and she may be forced to beg on the street for her existence and her children. Most importantly they cannot work Yet you dare to compare that situation and trivialize that horrible existence by saying that women are second class. INdeed when women do not take time off for child raising their salaries are the equivalent of men. I guess Fiorina from HP is suffering so terribly. Should she consider that it might be better to go to Afghanistan to prevent this horrible situation from continuing In conclusion you ask will we one day view GOd as a woman ? Well I don't know but for most of the world the question is not so lofty. The question is will the time come that women will be accepted as human beings ? Rich stop listening and reading all that crap. You need to get some perspective.

And let me add they cannot even get an education. We had an architect in the 1920's who built Hearst castle. Even then we were a century ahead of where the rest of the world. Our women can choose to go to school or whatever they want. African women undergo genital mutilation. Our women just tattoo themselves. Man you are really out in the clouds

China bans Middle East visitors By David Rennie in Beijing (Filed: 18/10/2001) CHINA has sparked anger across the Middle East after it put people from 20 countries and areas across the region, including Israel, on a secret security blacklist ahead of this week's Asia Pacific Economic Co-operation summit (APEC) in Shanghai. Middle Eastern and Israeli citizens have found themselves banned from Chinese airlines and denied visas since the September 11 attacks, and they have been barred from Shanghai hotels during the APEC meeting. China is proud of its reputation as a haven from international terrorism and is determined that nothing will go wrong during the summit, which is due to be attended by world leaders including President Bush and Vladimir Putin. The existence of a blacklist has been denied but Middle Eastern embassies have been swamped with complaints from tourists and businessmen refused entry, forced to leave early or stranded at Chinese borders. Shortly after September 11, Air China cancelled all flights to the Middle East and Pakistan, amid security fears. Israel is particularly annoyed to find itself on China's blacklist alongside such nations as Iran and Libya. Staff at the Grand Hyatt hotel in the city, at the top of China's highest skyscraper, said: "People from Middle Eastern countries cannot stay during APEC, but others like the British are OK."
