Yeah, I'll have a job again some time. The pile of job ads is sitting beside me on the left on my desk. For the moment I'm taking a break and only will apply to jobs I want to do in places I want to be. I don't spend a lot of money and so even though I don't have a lot of money I should get by. The termination payment I get next week will be about a year's rent, so even if I don't end up making any money from trading etc. I'll be OK. I'm not going to sit glued to the screen all day either. I have plenty of other stuff to do. I was appointed "visiting fellow" in the same department here at Australian National University, so I am doing the same sorts of things still, (research and dealing with research students) but without the committee metings etc.

But will have to make sure I do check in each morning for the Aussie market and in the evening for the US market at least and check out what happened in Aus and take it seriously. I don't plan on doing daytrading. Will only do trades I have a good idea to do before hand if indicators etc. reach certain points. My weakness is hanging on to trades that are losing.
