It's just an observation. The art of "asking questions" is at the heart of what I do. Usually it's not literaly asking people, although that is a part of it. It's formulating the right problem to work on that is key. Too many of the "questions" that people ask have the result built in and so after much work nothing new is discovered. Asking the wrong question is the second most common cause of failure (the first being sloppy work and errors) when working on something new. As a conservative I suppose one of your goals is to keep things the same, fine by me since that is what keeps me employed.
