I went and looked, but there are far too many posts for me to check. I guess an opinion could be traitorous (is that a word?) e.g. if someone thinks the President should be assassinated , that would fall into the category of an opinion of a traitor. I remember one of your lefty friends posting that someone should try to give Strom Thurmann a surprise and cause his demise so as to get a Democratic majority in the Senate. Not sure if that's treason, but it sure is mean and ugly. As it happens, a defector caused the shift in power and now it doesn't really matter as most votes seem to be unanimous or close to it.

If, indeed, the enemy is reading the threads (though this is something I strongly doubt- who would have the time to wade through the zillions of posts just at BR?) then how much more impressive to have read disagreement expressed as just that, with intelligent arguments either for one's own opinion or reasons why the employment of complete free speech is inappropriate, though certainly allowed, at this time. Accusations of treason, an insulting lack of respect for each other and a belief that these opposing opinions should be stifled actually turn us into them. Both sides should show more restraint. JMO.
