"gold below $300... for two more years, after which..."

Then the Cartel will buy the properties for a penny on the dollar
and finally allow the metals to move up to economic levels..."

marynell,

How might we position ourselves such that being shareholders
in these companies we do that buy very low and sell much higher?

My question is a simple one, as I am now able to buy shares
in some of these exploration and development mining companies
for what appears to be an investment of folly since any purchase
of shares in the low pennies like ten cents screams out loud (SOL)
that there is a better than good chance that either the company
will go belly-up leaving wall-paper, or do that reverse split.

I'm not too concerned about the wall-paper as its a clean cut-off
and we all are able to move on and leave since it does not exist anymore,
but a reverse split like the 20:1 in my MGR to Tyhee caused my
low price with large quanity to reverse itself. Not my numbers,
but like 100,000 shares @ a dime to 10,000 @ a dollar.

ok, so which of the exploration and development mining companies
in the gold, silver and platinum groups that are extremely low
in share price like a nickel or dime for the reason being that
at the present time they have not located or fully documented
whats in the dirt they have the rights to[bad English sentence]
... ok, my question is how does one select from a list of these
i just described, not to speculate on they finding great dirt,
but the ability to NOT do a reverse split AFTER i purchase
many shares at an almost "too low" share price?

Sorry about how my post reads, my grammer is very poor.

Example. Samex Mining Corp. (SXG:CDNX)
Samex Mining Corp. is also listed on OTC:BB: SMXMF
I hold lots of shares here.
For months lots of news, all bad & poor.
Then today news that sounds not bad.
10/17/01 - Eskapa Drilling Update Mineralized Intercept Achieved

So do i load up cheap to only later get screwed with a reverse split.
