introduce McVeigh or the Unabomber into what I was relating to is like adding water to the pot by pissing in the soup

Couldn't disagree more. Terrorism is terrorism. McVeigh did not act alone, either, nor did many of the individuals blowing up doctors in the name of "saving lives". The bomb at the Olympic games may have been a solitary effort, but we still don't know who did that so that may have been a group as well.

Yesterday is yesterday. Today's bin Laden type fanatics are more like today's whacked-out christian nuts (fortunately a tiny minority) than like today's KKK.

if you do want to deal that way or defend the KKK in some
way

I haven't the faintest idea what you are talking about. It has been a long time since I've seen someone - anyone - on SI defend the KKK. Then again, maybe I don't move in your circles.

please don't reply until you first have your brain examined by a proctoligist

What on god's green earth are you so upset about that you resort to such insulting language?

I'm well experienced in the art of flaming

Is that a threat? Or pompous posturing?
