How do we know that? What Christians were there at the time Christ was preaching?

The problem with scripture is always one of interpretation. Different people will often interpret the same text in different ways. Who decides which is the 'correct' interpretation? And how do those making such interpretations convince themselves that theirs is not the reading in 'error'?

There are no clear answers to these questions. If we must err, then let it be an error of love and compassion. For even those who believe in a God of judgement appreciate that errors of love are those that God most swiftly forgives. No sacred scripture of any faith contains passages wherein God says "I cast you out because you loved too much".

And what is love? "Love always patient and kind; it is never jealous; love is never boastful or conceited; it is never rude or selfish; it does not take offense; and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people's sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes. Love does not come to an end." (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)

The parable does not apply to those who are openly anti-Christ like Zionists, but to Christian behavior towards Christians of different doctrines.

Very wrong Emile. Read Christs Explaination again.

24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field

38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked [one]

Christ did not say the field was different doctrines of Christians.
Christ said the field is the world.
The Earth the whole thing everywhere on it.
