By the same token, there are millions of Muslims in the U.S. who do not subscribe to Bin Laden's fanaticism and who are extremely patriotic Americans who subscribe wholeheartedly to Western ideals. That doesn't mean he and his group are not fanatics. Baruch Goldstein was a fanatic who slaughtered 29 Arabs, who believed a Jewish doctor should not save the lives of non-Jews, and who received a massive amount of support throughout Israel for his actions and beliefs.
