I don't see that as a good analogy. I'm not going to attempt to be an armchair general. I trust this administration to be doing what they feel is the best way to handle the situation. They know a lot more about the situation than any of us do, I'm sure of that.

There are plenty of hard targets. We have been hitting command and control centers, airfields, munitions storage facilities, training facilities, and other usual candidates for bombing......

Back to your analogy. I don't think we'll be there for "years" destroying the infrastructure. It's still less than two weeks since we started bombing.
I would get rid of anything that prevented me from getting to the termites or anything that protected the termites, that's for sure. Again, have patience, you must be part of that me generation that has to have everything now! :-)
