Hi Rashid,

I'm exhausted, beat up and frustrated. Glad I got flat fast the first 1/2 hour this AM and booked some profits on the stuff I took home last nite. Went short on ISSX at 25 when it couldn't follow it's gap up and covered later for 3 points (maybe too soon). But otherwise it was a disappointing day - I didn't short anything else and my other trades were basic scratches, minor losses, and minor gains (minor being measured as less than .25) - ended up with what Lizard King used to call Taco change.

NAZ sure gave back 100 points fast - in truth, I didn't anticipate that fast a reversal off the 1750+ area. All day, I kept thinking it was mostly the anthrax fear, so kept looking for a reversal, but my ponies just wanted to find new lows. Upon reflection, I'm starting to think that this may have been a distribution rally. It is, after all, still earnings season, there's a lot of other uncertainty and Big Al was in staring 'em down in the halls of Congress (before it closed). The anthrax thing may not be new, but when our leaders close up shop while telling us not to worry, well ....

The short watch list did well, I should have had more faith in it. Well, there's always tomorrow. What else can spook or rally the markets?

Peace and Justice --- Patrick
