Nice action on HGMCY and GOLD today.

With regards to previous posts on the Border situation and the War on Drugs - My 2cents:

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I still do not see the "Fire in the Theater" panic that is necessary to cause massive sweeping changes (In the markets, In Joe Average's daily routine, Approach to immigration, Etc).

Even today, the average business traveler has simply been asked to arrive at the airport a little earlier. Until the airlines get out of the "Service" business and into the "Transportation" business little will change with the airlines except their demands for more bail-out money (ie - No carry-on bags, If you are assigned seat 6, you sit in seat 6). Amazes me to travel today and see some guy still complaining that he did not get an aisle seat and they are not quick enough with his drink refills.

I am interested to see what will be the straw that turns our definition of War into "Win at all costs, as quickly as possible, anyway possible". As Iso mentioned, this was not the definition during the "War on Drugs" and is not the definition today with the middle east.

Until the uniform consequence is greater than the action, we are in for a long road ahead. JMHO
