Malcolm

Lets also not forget to remind the "Its all the fault of Bubba and the Bitch" crowd that the most disastrous mistake was letting Saddam Hussein off the hook in 1991. Here you have one of the most venal bastards on the face of the earth since Hitler died in his bunker. He poison-gassed his own people and was responsible for the deaths of millions. You are no more than 3 days from having him hanging by his ankles. Do we have the guts to go get him? No, we close up shop and go home. A pathetic failure of will that has haunted us to this day and can only have encouraged future terrorists.

John

Malcolm-
You didn't offend me, thank you. I'm sorry I caused you to pen a small missive in an attempt to counter my post

Let be straight up with you. My memory was not selective but, my post was. My history book has many pages but, the reason I posted (passed along) the one about the Clintons is that I despise both of them, vehemently. My aim was not to enter this board's political fracas as certified and armored combatant but, merely to stir the pot using Clinton as the bete noir. I take every opportunity I find to discredit the bastard.
I know there are no Presidents that have done EVERYTHING right. There are some that seem to have done NOTHING right. I nominate Slick for the latter category. By so doing, I don't deny that other candidates exist nor, do I even care who they are.

Beyond that, I leave finding the "right solution" to the rest of you. Hopefully, the "doves" will suggest a practical one that outperforms the "hawk's" willingness to locate and kill anyone remotely responsible.
As for me, my concern for any accidental collateral damage caused by the hawks, is nearly non-existent.
