Shahak has never implied (let alone said) that your average Jewish doctor in suburban America lives by these standards. He is simply highlighting Jewish fanatacism, which is frequently glossed over. In contrast, Jewish racists frequently like to paint the average Muslim as a Taliban fanatic. I recall Goldstein's actions being roundly condemned in Israel as those of a madman.
