patron, It's my wife and it's my life. <VBG> Shoot, heroin is something I could never use due to the presence of needles in the process. I give blood. I'll take shots. But use a needle for fun? Fuhgetaboudit. I still remember when The VU was called The Plastic Inevitable. I never saw them under that name. Lou Reed has made some great albums since, but I still think the VU stuff was the best. Though kind of raw. Of course, Lou never got all that un-raw.

Lot's of downer old songs from others also come to mind. "The Eve of Destruction" was one of the all-time greats to bring you down after listening to a Leonard Cohen album. <g> The Kingston Trio even had one about a bomb shelter with the line "creme de la creme crematorium." It is amazing how dumb lines stick with you over the years. And yet I can't remember the name of someone I see every day. Ah, senior moments. <g>
