I think you should be directing your post to me J F Shepard for I believe it was me that posed this question yesterday.
Message 16508895

Why you think that you should even have to answer this question is beyond me. Of course you don't have to answer the question. It really isn't any of our business where you stand and no one has challenged your loyalty. It was simply a question. Nothing more nothing less. Read what you will into it. I respect your right not to make a declaration one way or the other. You make it clear that you very much dislike our President and the Republican party. Don't pat yourself on the back about it. It is just that it has become almost intolerable to be hated any more. Hate is begetting hate and we are all mired so deeply in it that there is no light or air or hope or honor or compassion or love or pleasure or trust or decency left. We can all thank a faceless enemy that appeared our of the sky one day last month to guarantee that it remains that way.

The question wasn't are you loyal. The question was, where do you stand. I withdraw the question.

M

"Now let me ask why you thought it was necessary to ask your question of me"

Very simple. Because you accused someone else who used it of practicing McCarthyism. I didn't get it then, and still don't now. Since you thought it was evil to say it I wondered why. To me it is a basic question, and is one that to me is black and white. I like that Bush used it, and think it is totally appropriate.

"you asked everyone on the thread to sign your loyalty pledge??"

No, and I did not with you. I will say that I don't like people who don't like America. If you are for the terrorists you do not like America and I do not like you. If you are not for the terrorists then we are just people with different views.
