Art, from last look, photography made up about a third of the demand (230moz)

Ultimately silver is more than an element in camera film, it’s growth and demand has been primarily driven from the Tech, Biotech and the Industrial sectors. Last year the demand for silver was at record levels, 920 moz was used and yet there was a deficit of 150 moz between supply and demand, which was made up by both China and India. Official estimates show China with 130 moz in inventory while India is in at an estimated 80 moz. There is a huge shortage due to an artificial supply which isn’t going to last much longer.

Most analyst now agree -- Come on now Art you can do better than that, if the use of 35mm film cameras is dropping because of a recession, you’d think digital cameras would have an even tougher time. You do need to buy a pc to make one of these things work, don’t you?

The use of computer free cameras will only flourish in hard times.
