"Triple from $7 is a big accomplishment?"

Triple from anything is indeed a good accomplishment.
Under current conditions, I don't think anyone expects
this from Intel.

To be quite honest, as an investor, I'm pretty psyched about triple regardless of where I start from. ;)

Re: Triple from $7 is a big accomplishment? Or is that your point? ;-)

Given that this is an investing message board, I assume people should make prognostications about buying and selling stocks. Moreover, I assume that not everyone reading this thread is invested to his or her teeth in AMD. I'm sorry for anyone who has held AMD from $7 to $48 and back to $9. That being said, the nice thing about AMD's incredible volatility is that you can miss the top by 40-50% and still make a killing off it. I'm not sure what kind of volatility there will be over the next year, but even with limited information about Hammer, I think most reasonable people who have been following this thread for a few years can anticipate a fairly secure way to make money from the end of 2002 to the middle of 2003 on AMD.
