GAWD! I'm being stalked! What's worse, you and E are trying to civilize me! :-) And as one of your "left wing friends", may I remind you that I have spoken wth you in great detail about my satisfaction with how the US involvement in Afghanistan is going? I stand corrected. And I apologize. The battle with a couple of posters over here made me forget a rather amazing fact: somewhere between 75% and 90% of the population supports what is being done. I have had discussions with a number of very brightly flaming liberals I know in 3D and - amazingly - they support the government's actions! One of them is my sister-in-law. I would not have believed that until I heard it. I believe it is the first time ever she and I agreed about anything political. What SI needs are threads that only the members can READ. :-)
