I have been eyeballing China all year but have yet to figure out how to play it. Do you know of any trackers, webs etc that a person can trade that matches their indexes/sectors? I don't trust regular generic mutual funds so I want something I can track on my own and do my own DD without worrying about some 22 year old flopping shares in and out without my knowledge. -ggg-

Good Luck,

Lee

one thing that China is doing to ensure their long term economic strength is, when they have a vendor selling a lot of equipment or goods into the country, they negotiate with the vendor to have some of the manufacturing process take place in China. For computer related stuff, it can simply be assembly or final configuration, but they definitely push for this.

I need to learn more about their oil reserves. If they have decent reserves, I would expect some serious courting with US oil companies. This could bring an infusion of cash too.
