I would rather lock-in the 10% now than write a series of shorter expirations. It is a rule of thumb that I have developed over time. When I have planned a series of actions over time I have often been thwarted by changing conditions. Remember that I posed buying the amat for this and if it gets taken, so be it. If taken, I will look for another opportunity at that time.
