Ron--I didn't get much detail from my friendly hound in Charleston, but the judge has ruled on 33 pre-trial motions. Some are fairly technical, but Leagal thought that 30 of the rulings generally went in favor of GOE. The primary loss was that he did dismiss allegations of fraud. If fraud had been proved, then whatever damages were awarded would automatically have been tripled. On the other hand, trying to prove fraud would have complicated the trial a good deal. Unfortunately, Beagel made the mistake of trying to mark the judge's shoes as part of his territory and has been barred from the courthouse, so it is not certain that he will be able to provide much detail about the trial itself until he can obtain copies of any rulings from the trash bin. =+=+=Norm Hostetler
