entry timing on rmbs might, finally, be pretty good. the quad pumped bus really only starts to shine at cpu clks => 2GHz and that's where the sweet spot of the p4 will be in q1. that's what intel's game plan is: 2->4GHz pc's at asp's <$1000. that makes rimm's asp's come into line w/benchmark comps. plus p4 is multithreaded, lots of horses under the hood here, not really advertised. so, if the super eyecandy apps/fatband content, whatever, by whoever in realtime 3d, 30+fps graphics and digital dolby on relatively cheap setups (bose sound, nec lcd 19" monitors) start to get some marketing sizzle, 1h02, it could really drive things and the bus would be back on the highway to hell. although, if their lawyers keep pissing off everybody in the industry, who knows? maybe somebody'll put a hit on 'em and then just walk in, pick up the spec book and move on. probably to china. lololol. i'm lol'ng, it could happen so easily. american digital tech could go the way of american analog tv. it never comes back.

and all because andy grove and john chambers couldn't get the last mile problem figured out and then the fed f*cked the rest to a farethewell.

so, the bus? well...orwell

just another crazy ah w/an op.
