They are known worldwide for them. Back in 1988 I made a bet with a co-worker (we both worked as consultants near the restaurant) that I would get the recipe for the cookies before she did. Well, we tried everything we could, for over 6 months. I mean EVERYTHING. We got to know the cooks. The management. The workers. No one would give us the recipe. And then a manager at the Dupont Company offered me a contract. I didn't take it, but in talking to him I learned that he had access to the restaurant's databases. Including the recipes. I asked him about the cookies, and he casually offered to send me the recipe. AND HE DID! Let me tell you, this is the BEST cookie I've tasted. A neighbor just this week did a taste test for me. Her exact words "Who needs men? These are better than SEX!" Now I don't expect EVERYONE to feel this way, but it gives you an idea of how good they are! Ladies, these are cookies that will earn you a reputation. People have asked me for these every year since I first made them. They are especially good for the Holiday season, since they are SO different than the usual fare.... Men, if you want to score BIG points with your loved one, make her these cookies! She WILL appreciate them. And most importantly, they're EASY TO MAKE! Just 20 minutes from start to FINISH! It's UNBELIEVABLE! Why am I releasing the recipe? Well, a few years ago I was in a major traffic accident, and am now disabled. I am doing this to try to suppliment my income.
