on another thread, we were talking about tidal generation as an alternate form of energy.

I chose the entrance of San Francisco bay as a perfect location. You don't think that they will mind do you?

Actually solar thingie works very well. I have it on my roof (outta sight though) and it is linked to the gas system. The water temp is regulated, so on days of cloud, rain etc, which are few in CA, the gas takes over automatically.

We've always had it, so i dunno exactly how much difference it makes but I am told it cuts my gas bill by 33% or more....

Bin toying with the idea of electric car....just wish they weren't so expensive...
