Pearly we know the Taliban are horrid! I guess we should bomb and invade all countries whose social mores are offensive - countries where female circumcision is practiced for example? Rape of virgins by Zulus, etc., etc. There's a lot wrong with the world. The status of women is Afghanistan and in its model state Saudi Arabia. The list goes on. The Taliban is a wonderful whipping boy for the current offensive. I was simply trying to counter the propaganda surrounding the miniscule drops of food compared to the huge dislocations caused by the bombing. Did you see the piece where the CIA is reportedy buying all the pictures from a private sattelite which shows the extent of the damage and collateral damage caused by the bombing? They can't supress the information for fear of lawsuits from the media - so they are buying it all - or so the story goes.
